As an example, make a high-pitched voice when your puppy bites. Tell him that you were hurt and you need to sound as load as you can, especially if he starts to bite again. In addition, you should avoid your puppy and refuse to play with him for 2 minutes. Doing this will let your puppy know that you are not happy with the way in which he acts. Also, it will permit him to realize that you are not going to play with him unless he acts nice and stops biting.
Biting Prevention Coaching
Another good way to stop your young dog from biting is by teaching him to follow the command for the behaviour you want him to learn. You can do this by holding your pet’s mouth for approximately 10 seconds. Praise your little dog and say the words like “Close your mouth”; it's best to do this when your little puppy is calm. This’ll help him understand that biting isn't a good behavior. You should be careful when you do this training with your puppy; you need to hold his mouth gradually to make him feel at ease.
