One of any dog’s favorite games is tug games. There are all kinds of tug toys available in any pet shop. But instead of spending money for a toy you can use a simple branch or wooden stick. And always be cautious: Make sure you do not damage your pet’s teeth, mouth or muscles by pulling to violently.
Tug games are not the only option: Ball games also mean a lot of fun for your dog. You throwing a ball and your dog chasing it and bringing it back to you are also very popular among dogs.
Another great game to play is hide and seek. Just make the dog sit and wait until it is called. Simply have someone hold him and cover his eyes, so that he does not see where you are hiding.
Call him then and let him find you. And of course praise him enthusiastically as soon as he has found you.
